Ruth Awah, APRN, FNP-BC

Ruth Awah, APRN, FNP-BC is a graduate of Regis College, Weston, Massachusetts with a degree in Family Practice. Ruth is certified in Antiaging Medicine, Hormone Replacement Therapies, Erectile Dysfunction, Weight Management, Dermal Filler, Botulinum Toxin and Facial Aesthetic through the Empire Medical Training group.

Ruth is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the American Nurses Association. She is recognized by the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, Pi Epsilon at-Large Chapter.

Ruth has years of clinical experience in Hormone Replacement Therapies, Hormone Pellet Implants, Erectile Dysfunction Therapies (injectables, Acoustic Wave Therapy, Oral therapies, etc.), Acne Management and Weight loss Therapies. Ruth is passionate about patient care, patient safety and patient wellbeing. With over 10 years of practice in the medical profession in the departments of management, leadership and direct patient care, Ruth understands the uniqueness of every patient as an individual and the importance of the need to look beyond the walls of Conventional Practices; She is an Advocate for Integrative and Functional Healthcare Delivery Practices, and her treatment approaches are driven by Positive Patient outcomes.

Ruth has a great passion for life, fitness and health. She loves helping people improve the quality of their lives and this is one of the many reasons she enjoys going to work every day. Ruth also has a Passion to Motivate and Coach. What she’s learned from her experience with adversities in multiple different situations has given her the ability to volunteer some of her time serving as a Motivational Speaker in small group settings, as well as serving as a Mentor to many young individuals within her local community. Outside of work, Ruth enjoys spending time with her family, running, and being outdoors. Her favorite TV shows are “Survivor”, “The Amazing Race” and “American Ninja Warrior”.
